AntwortenLöschenMy favorite christmas colors are silver and gold. My favorite christmas tradition that we have had for 33 years and it is a long story but, I'll try to make it short. My Dad never liked turkey or ham but he loved chili so he was going to make himself some chili for Christmas. He ran out of beans and being christmas stores are closed so we went to the local 7-11 store. Dressed in pj's and slippers with Mom. We got home & we were there 15 minutes and the police showed up saying the owner of the store said we stole a can of beans. They took us to the police department and of course the store owner never showed up. But after that it became a tradition for all of us to eat Dads special Chili on Christmas and we have carried that tradition for 33 years even after his passing in 2001. AntwortenLöschenChristmas is my favorite time of year, I love all the colors but would have to say that my favorite is deep burgundys and deep greens, love the richness of the colors. My favorite Christmas tradition is going Christmas caroling at the Retirement Centers with my friends. The joy and appreciation is an awesome feeling, it is what Christmas is all about. Christmas isn't about the gifts, it is about the feeling that it gives you, life is good, people are good and the world is a beautiful place.
AntwortenLöschenWOW, what beautiful kits and a giveaway in the spirit of the season -- my favorite Christmas colors -- I love white/silver for snowy and elegant themes, red and green for traditional, my Mom's house for the holidays is mostly pinks in an old victorian theme, so non-traditional pastels colors are great too, -- guess I am just a big believer in a rainbow of colors and that is what I tree looks like some years --filled with ornaments from my grandparents, things that have been given as gifts -- stuff I made in elementary school, things my kids have made in school -- a whole hodgepodge -- other times our tree is just full of blues and purples to go with the color theme of our living room -- blue and my and my dd favorite color -- purple.
